BURN-OUT &

Burnout can happen to anyone. We're all human, and each of us has a limited amount of energy. This energy isn't endless, as we often think. As long as you maintain a balance between what gives and what drains your energy, there's no problem.

 

Unfortunately, this balance is often completely out of whack. You have a super busy life (children, work, social life...) and it's hard to keep everything in the air. The constant stimuli and unconscious societal pressure can also be very overwhelming for your nervous system. Worries about your work, future, or health can also completely throw you off track. This causes stress, and stress drains your body's energy.

If the balance between energy givers and takers isn't maintained, the balance tips over. If this is short-lived, your body can handle it. But if it lasts too long, your body starts to sputter, you feel like you're constantly on edge, you lose control of your work and life, and you no longer feel good about yourself. All you want to do is cry, and you're oh, oh, so tired. Until one day, you can't do anything anymore. There you are, standing in the supermarket, not even remembering what spaghetti sauce is, or sitting in front of your computer, suddenly having no idea what it's for.

 

There you are. You're exhausted, your body can't handle anything anymore, you're completely exhausted. All you feel like doing is crying and crawling into bed. Welcome to your burnout. A burnout coach can help you understand what's happening to you and what steps you can take to recover from your burnout as quickly as possible. Together we will also look at what causes you stress and how you can restore the balance between your energy givers and takers.
